How to lock a LOR Residential controller?

So I'm new to the light show game and just got my first controller but I'm wondering how to lock it. It has a hole for a padlock but you can just open it with the main screw.

Thanks in advance,

Nick

Not everyone lives in nice areas, a little extra security can't hurt.

A little extra security never hurt. I found my answer though. Thanks anyway,

Nick

In all due respect, what you really want to lock down is the entire box.  I doubt someone would take the time to open the box and undo the controller.  If you are concerned, you will need to attach the entire box to something, like a tree or fence post, via a cable to chain.

I do put a small padlock on each controller to keep my "friends" from opening them up and flipping the on off switch!

I would use a cable, locked around a post , tree or pole....OR Browning, Glock and Springfield Armory makes a great choice :)
