Did you know?
  • The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th was in 336, during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine. A few years later, Pope Julius I officially declared that the birth of Jesus would be celebrated on that day.
  • Santa Claus's sleigh is led by eight reindeer: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dunder (variously spelled Donder and Donner), and Blixem (variously spelled Blixen and Blitzen), with Rudolph being a 20th-century inclusion.
  • Outdoor Christmas lights on homes evolved from decorating the traditional Christmas tree and house with candles during the Christmas season. Lighting the tree with small candles dates back to the 17th century and originated in Germany before spreading to Eastern Europe.
  • That big, jolly man in the red suit with a white beard didn’t always look that way. Prior to 1931, Santa was depicted as everything from a tall gaunt man to a spooky-looking elf. He has donned a bishop's robe and a Norse huntsman's animal skin. When Civil War cartoonist Thomas Nast drew Santa Claus for Harper's Weekly in 1862, Santa was a small elflike figure who supported the Union. Nast continued to draw Santa for 30 years, changing the color of his coat from tan to the red he’s known for today.
  • Christmas 2018 countdown has already begun. Will you be ready???
  • Why do we love Christmas? It's all about the traditions. In this chaotic world we can miss the "good old days." Christmas reminds us of that time.

Rgb Lights To Wash Wall From Tight Angle

I agree with the flex strips, but in my opinion if you want it even the do not use the 90 degree connectors as that will not give the corners even lighting. Just wrap the strip around the corners. Just my one tenth of a cent worth.

    Which One? Rgb Led Controllers

I agree totally with Jerrymac. I used to be on PC daily, but made the jump to the DLA side. I will be totally Lnyx equipment this year, but it has been a learning curve and takes additional time to build the hardware. The DLA community is awesome though and can help with almost anything that you run into. I personally do not think that you can go wrong with any of the mentioned vendors. It all depends on what direction you are wanting to go.

Thanks to Mark, Kevin and everyone involved on putting on another very successful Northwest CLAP meeting. Also thanks to Nancy Foley for allowing us to invade her home again for another year. It could not have been easy for her without Bill. He will always be with us. Great job guys on keeping his spirit alive and well!

    Rgb Mega Tree

Nutcracker is free and is great in what it does, but as of yet it will only sequence RGB and is not a complete sequencing software. It will however export to almost all of the other sequncing softwares

As long as the strings are not LED, yes you can cut them down to what ever number you like. I have some strings of 20 strobes and have had no issues at all.

    Light Show Pro Vs. LOR

I am running both LOR and DMX this year. I am running LSP software and I have had a few issues to work around, but my show is running. LSP is not nearly as reliable as LOR, but running DMX I did not have a choice. LSP has promised to improve on their stability and I believe that they will work on that. The LSP processes take much longer than LOR, but there again something that they are supposed to work on. I will stay with LSP in the hopes that they get all of the bugs worked out this year. The software has a very larger learning curve, but is also very extensive with what it will do. I hope this helps and MERRY CHRISTMAS! BTW Running 96 channels DMX and 4 Aethers with 400+ LOR Channels.
