Did you know?
  • Christmas 2018 countdown has already begun. Will you be ready???
  • Why do we love Christmas? It's all about the traditions. In this chaotic world we can miss the "good old days." Christmas reminds us of that time.
  • The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th was in 336, during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine. A few years later, Pope Julius I officially declared that the birth of Jesus would be celebrated on that day.
  • Santa Claus's sleigh is led by eight reindeer: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dunder (variously spelled Donder and Donner), and Blixem (variously spelled Blixen and Blitzen), with Rudolph being a 20th-century inclusion.
  • Outdoor Christmas lights on homes evolved from decorating the traditional Christmas tree and house with candles during the Christmas season. Lighting the tree with small candles dates back to the 17th century and originated in Germany before spreading to Eastern Europe.
  • That big, jolly man in the red suit with a white beard didn’t always look that way. Prior to 1931, Santa was depicted as everything from a tall gaunt man to a spooky-looking elf. He has donned a bishop's robe and a Norse huntsman's animal skin. When Civil War cartoonist Thomas Nast drew Santa Claus for Harper's Weekly in 1862, Santa was a small elflike figure who supported the Union. Nast continued to draw Santa for 30 years, changing the color of his coat from tan to the red he’s known for today.

  1. Early start

Same here I also do some type of display for every holiday. I have one for Valentines Day, one for Saint Patrick’s Day, five (soon to be seven) for Easter, One for Fourth Of July, forty for Halloween, four for Thanksgiving, and 100 for Christmas.
  2. Early start

I decided to decorate now instead of later for Saint Patrick’s Day. Who else uses Christmas lights for other holidays?
  3. My Love For Hamberger Displays

    I want the organ.
  4. Where is it now! Uggg

I get that same error message all the time! I hate it!
  5. Looking for Valentine Day Inflatables

Try eBay. There are inflatables on there for Valentines Day. I got my bear when it was sold in stores.
  6. Craigs List and Ebay

Does anybody have the pictures to this listing?
  7. 2018 Valentines Day display

    Thank you!
  8. 2018 Valentines Day display

I also used some App Lights and put them on the Valentines Day setting. Should I plug in the red and white lights on the light pole?
  9. ANOTHER custom inflatable (Nightmare Before Christmas)

I love this one!! Nice work! Are you the one who puts the custom inflatables on eBay? What would be your asking price? I’m probably not going to buy it right now but I would like to know.
  10. New custom inflatable.

I would love to see that one! I am a fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas. It combines two of my favorite holidays together!
  11. What goes down must go up!

Finally got all of my inflatables down! We had a 50 degree heat wave today so I figured i would take all the inflatables down before it starts to snow 6-8 inches. But I went out at three and started pouring rain. I continued until I was finished. At seven. Spent three hours in pouring rain so every single piece of clothing I had on was soaked. Not a dry spot in sight. I’ll probably be sick in the next few days for doing that but let’s hope i don’t get sick or get sick after my birthday.
  12. Gemmy Santa Help.

I’m in dire need of a 3D printer. I don’t want to order gears from China I’ve had to replace split/broken gears in at least 50 Gemmy items. I just repaired my present spinning grinch and I had to replace the motor shaft gear and the square shaft gear.
  13. Yea he is pretty cool! But there is one more snowman I just found!
  14. What goes down must go up!

Now we are supposed to get a few more inches tonight with high winds. The wind chill is -24 degrease! High temp for tomorrow is 9 degrease with a -10 degrease wind chill! Maybe I’ll bundle up like the kid from A Christmas Story and get some lights off of the bushes!
  15. What goes down must go up!

I can’t get any of the inflatables down. All of the stakes are frozen solid into the ground. But I will get some lights down off of the trees and bushes soon. It’s supossed to be 19 degrees tomorrow. Warmest day we’ve had in two weeks! It’s just crazy!
