Did you know?
  • Christmas 2018 countdown has already begun. Will you be ready???
  • Why do we love Christmas? It's all about the traditions. In this chaotic world we can miss the "good old days." Christmas reminds us of that time.
  • The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th was in 336, during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine. A few years later, Pope Julius I officially declared that the birth of Jesus would be celebrated on that day.
  • Santa Claus's sleigh is led by eight reindeer: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dunder (variously spelled Donder and Donner), and Blixem (variously spelled Blixen and Blitzen), with Rudolph being a 20th-century inclusion.
  • Outdoor Christmas lights on homes evolved from decorating the traditional Christmas tree and house with candles during the Christmas season. Lighting the tree with small candles dates back to the 17th century and originated in Germany before spreading to Eastern Europe.
  • That big, jolly man in the red suit with a white beard didn’t always look that way. Prior to 1931, Santa was depicted as everything from a tall gaunt man to a spooky-looking elf. He has donned a bishop's robe and a Norse huntsman's animal skin. When Civil War cartoonist Thomas Nast drew Santa Claus for Harper's Weekly in 1862, Santa was a small elflike figure who supported the Union. Nast continued to draw Santa for 30 years, changing the color of his coat from tan to the red he’s known for today.

  1. Made this one sometime in late November, I think it’s likely the best one I’ve done so far (in my opinion). Jack is animated, as you can see in the pictures.
  2. New custom inflatable.

Today I decided to make another custom inflatable. I used an old Santa, that no longer worked. I put a new more powerful motor on it and added the reindeer, elf and bear, which were all extra pieces I had. What do you think of it??
  3. Here are some pics of the 2017 display. Some things I wanted to do never got done, due to time. I wasn’t able to start until it was already October. Many, many improvements already underway for 2018. Also, I do realize I’m wildly late to post this. My apologies I was going to upload videos as well, but can’t seem to figure it out
  4. I have sets of solid blue, green, red, and clear mini lights for sale. They are used, and all bundled up in little balls. They are sets of 100 lights, used for 1-2 seasons. I have approximately 120 sets of clear, 75 blue, 60 red, 60 green. (These numbers aren’t EXACT, I’ll make sure I have enough to fill an order before I take it). They are in nice shape, colors are still vibrant. They might be a little bit dirty, but were used on the trunks of trees so they stayed fairly clean. The lights are rather close together, (see pic), and the sets themselves are around 20-22 feet in length. I can’t gaurentee every single light is working, but I’ll make sure the set itself works before shipping. Looking to get $1 a set, plus shipping. I also have 25 additional sets of red that are brand new, looking for $1.50 a set on those. If you let me know how many sets you want and you zip code, I can give a shipping quote. Thanks!
  5. New custom inflatable.

Thank you! I made a Nightmare Before Christmas one recently, going to post pics in a minute.
  6. Keep or sell...?

I don't know wether I should keep this thing or if I should sell it... Thoughts?
  7. All are for sale. The snoopy and Mickey pumpkins are prototypes. The ornaments with bear and Santa with the elf, bear, and reindeer are all custom. Shoot me an offer!
  8. Anyone selling any airblowns?

Hi, I am looking to expand my display and am wanting to buy some inflatables. I am interested in both working ones and fixer uppers. If you have anything, let me know! Thanks!
  9. Some inflatables I'm looking for.

Yes yes, I know I know, most of these are readily avalable on eBay. But still, I figured I'd post this here too, since some of them I can't find even on eBay. If you have any of these inflatables and are willing to sell them, please let me know. I am willing to pay some pretty good prices for them. The ones that are particularly urgent for me are the Hot Coco Hot Tub, Olaf and Sven, and the Christmas Dragon. I am looking for: •Christmas Dragon •Olaf and Sven (from Frozen) •Hot Cocoa Hot Tub •Mr. Potato Head •Unassembled Snowman •Star Wars Scene (with Chewbacca) •Minions Scene (two minions building snowman) •Christmas Scooby Doo Thanks!
  10. Some inflatables for sale!!

Okay. Well that one is the one I more hesitant to sell (In comparison to the custom Santa) but I really want something like $125-$150 for it. The little bear and smaller ornament are actually both prototypes too, and a paid some decent money for them both. Which is also why my price is so high. Thanks for your interest:)
  11. Keep or sell...?

Yes I agree. I think I'll leave it up for sale on eBay and if it doesn't sell I'll just keep it for the season next year and see how it goes
  12. Keep or sell...?

Haha. I'm still with my inflatables I'm thinking about it... I really like it. The only thing holding me back is that I had the intention of selling it when I bought it. And I'm worried that if I keep it and don't like it, then I won't be able to sell it for as much. Yes it is. And I do like it myself. It actually doesn't light up at all itself. It came with a rather weak LED spotlight. So if I do put it out, I'll have to get a better spotlight for it.
  13. Keep or sell...?

Cause... I'm broke. Hahaha Gasp!! Why not?! They are my favorite decorating item. I have almost sixty of them now. But I do agree it is cool.
  14. Fixing inflatables?

Has anyone thought about using that flex seal stuff to fix an inflatable with bad fabric? In the commercial they show it being waterproof, and flexible. So, if you coated the inside of an Airblown with some of the clear kind, would it fix it...? Has anyone tried this? Does it sounds like it would work to anyone? I have tried the tent sealant stuff before but it hasn't worked for me.
  15. I was lucky enough to snag two of these (the pictured airblown) up this year on sale, for 75% off. It has fire and ice in it down below in the "fire", which is cool, and the Santa is separately lighted (so that it is lit steadily). Since I don't need two identical ones, I was thinking about removing the Santa from one of them and replacing it with a penguin of the appropriate size. That way I can have a pair of "matching" inflatables. One of Santa on a jet pack and one of a penguin on a jet pack. Any thoughts? If I did this and didn't want the custom one would anyone be interested in purchasing something like that? Tell me your thoughts!!
  16. Thoughts on Possible Custom Project?

Haha nah it's fine, I'm just as bad! Lol
  17. Thoughts on Possible Custom Project?

Oh oh okay. What I was going to do was (since I have two) leave one like it is, and then take the second one and replace the Santa with a penguin.
  18. Thoughts on Possible Custom Project?

Yeah, I don't think so either. And what do you mean suspended? This sits on the ground. The 'fire' touches the ground and the Santa is connected to it. So anyone could really use it.
  19. Thoughts on Possible Custom Project?

Seriously though, if I made one of them into a "jetpacking penguin", and I decided I didn't really want it, do you think it'd sell for anything or would it be basically worthless?
  20. Thoughts on Possible Custom Project?

    I sure will!! Haha
  21. Thoughts on Possible Custom Project?

Haha. I am too.. And sometimes it does spawn into something cool.
  22. Thoughts on Possible Custom Project?

Haha!! That's a great idea, and a good one at that, lol.
  23. Multiple Santas?

For a good while now I have tried to keep my display, no matter how large, to one Santa Claus (well, two, one blow mold and one Airblown). I don't exactly know why, I guess I just thought that it'd look weird to have a lot of Santas. Anyways, this year I am rapidly expanding my collection. I have a few that I want to get for my collection, but they contain a Santa. Last year I noticed a few displays that had like, 10 or more Santas and I didn't think anything of it, but I'm still being stubborn. What are your thoughts on having more than one Santa (blow mold or inflatable) in a single display? Thanks!
  24. Multiple Santas?

Okay, cool, I'll look into it.
  25. Multiple Santas?

Thank you! I was looking for it, but I couldn't find that. I'm glad you posted the link.
