Did you know?
  • Christmas 2018 countdown has already begun. Will you be ready???
  • Why do we love Christmas? It's all about the traditions. In this chaotic world we can miss the "good old days." Christmas reminds us of that time.
  • The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th was in 336, during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine. A few years later, Pope Julius I officially declared that the birth of Jesus would be celebrated on that day.
  • Santa Claus's sleigh is led by eight reindeer: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dunder (variously spelled Donder and Donner), and Blixem (variously spelled Blixen and Blitzen), with Rudolph being a 20th-century inclusion.
  • Outdoor Christmas lights on homes evolved from decorating the traditional Christmas tree and house with candles during the Christmas season. Lighting the tree with small candles dates back to the 17th century and originated in Germany before spreading to Eastern Europe.
  • That big, jolly man in the red suit with a white beard didn’t always look that way. Prior to 1931, Santa was depicted as everything from a tall gaunt man to a spooky-looking elf. He has donned a bishop's robe and a Norse huntsman's animal skin. When Civil War cartoonist Thomas Nast drew Santa Claus for Harper's Weekly in 1862, Santa was a small elflike figure who supported the Union. Nast continued to draw Santa for 30 years, changing the color of his coat from tan to the red he’s known for today.

  1. Well, how often do you see lower prices? We just lowered the prices on a lot of our frames due to the fact that we have found a new supplier for some of the supplies that we need to make the frames and it cost us less than before. Therefor we are passing that on to all of you. We are not going to say that they may go lower again, but if we can we'll do it again.
  2. Do Gray 5mm led strings exist? If so who sells them!

Christmas-leds.com have gray combo clips that you can use over white led lights.
  3. Orders are pouring in and we love helping everyone put smiles on peoples faces. You can order this and other new frames at www.wireframedlites.com/new.php
  4. I would like to thank all of you making this year an outstanding one for building frames and would like to say MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all.Orders have started rolling in for next year and we have already started building frames. We do a lot of one of a kind custom frames, so remember all we need is a picture or drawing of what you want.Again, thank you all for a great year. Doug
  5. Christmas houses portal in Germany

Danke für den Beitrag. Ich liebe, was du mit den Lichtern und Häusern gemacht hast.
  6. Hi from Alabama

When I had one I just soldered wires (with a plug that would work with my transmitter) to the speaker leads and plugged it into the transmitter. Turn the volume way down and then turn it up just enough to have good sound from the transmitter.
  7. How do you raise money for your show?

You must remember, this is a hobby. If you can't pay for it yourself now then save your money from the jobs that you do. If you ask me for money to help you pay for a hobby, I will never give you any. Let's say you collected stamps and had not money to buy them. Creating a gofundme to get the money would just be wrong.
  8. How do you raise money for your show?

One thing that you must always remember in life. If you want help, you must communicate exactly what you are asking. We can read your mind.
  9. How do you raise money for your show?

If you are trying to raise money for a charity say so. When you say you are trying to raise money for you show, you are saying that you want money to put on the show. Just put a sign in your yard that you would like to have people donate to "House of Compassion" if they like your display. You can have a box beside the sign.
  10. Outdoor timers

I use something like this. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Woods-15-Amp-7-Day-Digital-Outdoor-Heavy-Duty-2-Outlet-Timer-Black-50015/203638981
  11. This late in the year, I think it will be hard to find one as most nativity sets are smaller. If you want wireframes they will have to be custom made. There are several places that make custom frames. See the vendor section for a list of vendors. They all will give you a quote.
  12. Is this a good Buy

Check out these. When you buy 50 it works out to be about .60 each. http://www.christmas-leds.com/productinfo_v3.aspx?productid=SPT-FML-PL
  13. Source for replacement led string

    Are they LED's?
  14. New computerised show

I hand deliver a Christmas card with a box of candy to all of my neighbors around me every year and make sure that I talk with them throughout the year. I've never had a problem.
