How many watch that show? Today, my brother and I watched it and there was one about finding needles in a haystack, and of course, Adam won finding all 4 needles with his contraption. Jamie and his "crew" only found 2. That is the best show.

Any Green Thumbers?

They did one where Cari had this bright idea to play music to plants and see which would do better.

So, they come out on her [flat] roof and set up like 6 small portable green houses, each equipped with a watering system. They planted 10 pots of pea seeds in each house and after 2 months of playing music....Classical, Cari's ' Dirty talk ' , Cari's "sweet talk " adn some other stuff to each green house, ....they figured out that 1 week before the experiment ended, the watering timer broke, so the plants got no water for the last week. So, they figured out that music sort of does help your plants grow...they can't distinguish the difference between swear words and sweet talk, so music all the way...

now my mom suggested that we bring out plants into our piano room! where all the music goes on...

I really enjoy Mythbusters

Myth Busters is the only "techie" show my wife will actually watch with me... it's our weekly bonding time .)

Last night's show making a paper crossbow powerful enough to kill someone... who would have guessed!

Ditto Chuck,my wife and I love to watch the show. There are some pretty interesting outcomes sometimes. Like the shooting the bullet straight up had me pretty surprised.

I too watch it, when I stumble across it.

I did see the needle in the haystack.

Alsothe plants liked theheavy metal best...try telling that to my neighbors when I am outside blaring music tryingto make the watermelons grow. They already think I am crazy with the lights at Halloween and Christmas.

I liked the one they had about the magic bullet. Proving it wasn't magic after all.

I also like the one where they tried to see if a bird could go through a planewindow. I really don't think using frozen chickens was fair though.

I think one of my favorite ones was seeing if lighting could really strike you through a phone.. I think the red head on the show is cute.

Storm is on the way, I can hear thunder, don't want to go talking to someone on the phone,if I am going to get lit up like a Christmas Tree.

I love that show. It is one of my favorite shows. The best on was the one with the concert in the mixer truck and they just blew the thing up for no reason. Jamie even said "This has nothing to do with the myth, it just a big boom"

I remember that one! That was really cool....Why they had to stand like 2 miles away makes no sense to me...but it was sweet seeing the concrete mixer exploding.

My favorite was Scottie and Kari filling all those baloons with helium to lift the little girl in a harness. Then Scottie spitting lighter fluid to pop them.

Number two was them all filling weather baloons to lift Adam up 50 feet in a chair. It was really funny when Jamie threatened to let him go...

Chicken gun and Chicken gun 2 were my 3rd and 4th favs

I like the pop bottle launcher one...where the had like 20 pop bottles and pressurized them with air and water, and they went nowhere!

My uncle is the owner of Apogee Rockets (http://apogeerockets.com/) and like 8 yrs ago at a family Christmas party, he brought in his popbottle launcher and we had a blast shooting pop bottles off.

If you like MythBusters, you'd like the snopes forums: http://msgboard.snopes.com. I'm known to haunt them, although I haven't been very active lately (but then I haven't here either!)

My favorite one was weather you get wetter walking or running from point A to point B in the rain. It seems running through a rain storm actually gets you wetter! I had a friend years ago that would walk while we all ran for cover in the rain he would laugh at us, I guess he must of known something....
