ok PC PC gurus...

I need a virtual DVD burner driver/software/emulator. My new netbook doesn't have a DVD/CD drive, and I need to make system disks.

I do NOT need a virtual drive where you mount an ISO and the system thinks it's a DVD drive. I need the OPPOSITE: Something that pretends to be a burner and creates an ISO (which I can then copy across my network to one of the 7 different machines that DO have one).

Oh, and it has to be free.

There are several. Take your pick:

Personnally, I'd use something from CNET.

Those are not what I need. Those create ISOs from a CD/DVD. This machine does not have a CD or DVD drive, I need to emulate one (so the software thinks it is writing to a real burner).

Acronis True Image should work for you.
