Holy Cow...all the balls land back into the holes again! How in the world do they get them to shoot perfectly all different ways at the same time and be exactly on the string/drum/pipe all together? That is soooooo cool...there is a nice display for your yard...MAKE the music w/ your display

Seriously, I know... I'm sure there are several balls that missed their mark... What gets me is the accuracy...

My son loves Animusic. He was so excited with they came out with their second DVD. He has most of the moves memorized.

Animusic is based on Midi files. They have a special software "engine" that they can "teach" how one of those animated instruments works. Then once the animated instrument has been defined they feed in a midi file and the instrument just plays it just like a Midi enabled keyboard can play a midi file! Very cool, customized technology.

Incredible! I've never seen anything like that before. Just amazing. At first I thought it was computer animation, but then I realized that the instruments were real. That would be so much fun to play with!

Now that I have seen that, I MIGHT attempt to make a smaller version of that in real life. Lets see....

A strong vacum system to s u c k the balls in the catching tubes strung enough to get a ball in if 1-2 in off, and also strong enough to toss the ball at the other end.

Silanoids to release the balls.

Lots of special software with midi control like Dan said.

Does that seem possible? Once the hardware can throw a ball reliable everytime then I can multiply it 100 times to play an instiment.
