We had a lot of fun watching it. Some of the people were crazy. Hated to see the kid get turned down but his invention just wasn't there.

I didn't watch it. I was too into basketball to stop watching it. It sounds like something I may have to watch a time or two though.

And about the statement above...that reminds me of a special that I watched with mom and dad one night on the History Channel about toilets. There used to be a man in I think London, but not sure, that walked around in a cloak and carrying a bucket. For a small price if you found him walking along the sidewalk and had to go, he would set the bucket down and hold his arms out so that the cloak surrounded you so that you could go in the bucket.

Why do all these idiots have to come from London?

Jeff, you are not allowed to answer that question.:P

Well of course all Americans know that any snake oil sounds better if a spokesman is from the UK or at least that's what these people think! And anyway Darren I was going to say "London, I thought it was Cirencester (http://planetchristmas.mywowbb.com/view_user.php?city=Cirencester&country=United_King dom)!" :P

The very first inventor... the one with the black raincoat you could take care of #1 issues... I'm still laughing about that one. Not sure what was worse... the guy's passionor the actual "invention."

My favorite was the sandbag shovel. I thought it was a very good idea and couldsave a ton of time in hurricane country.

If you wore the black cape while you were shoveling sand you would not have to stop and do a #1. That alone would save a ton of time. Mabye they just need to combine them.

As a military member I was also thinking that he should make them in a less conspicuous color and sell them to DoD! Grunts and Jarheads are always filling sandbags!

Jeff as known as a Wingnut/Flyboy

I never thought about the military. I was thinking a limited market just because of what it is, but when they are needed they will be needed in the thousands. Mold them in green and your good to go.

You know even if he does not win his product will be picked up by someone.

Actually no. I think he is lazy and will not rebound or fight for the ball. That is why they always lose the rebounding statistic.

I didn't get why they just didn't explain to the kid that all mechanical devices can fail. And if his fan failed with the dog in a hot car you would have a dead dog.
