I am thinking of making a "test" set of lights that I can use for testing controllers. Rather than using 16 sets of mini lights, has anyone done anything like this? I seem to remember seeing some photos somewhere?

I was thinking of using C-7 or C-9 lights from an old string and just making 1 light cords. 16 of them could then be attached to a board for viewing.

I just plug in night lights; make sure you use the kind without the sensors. I’ve just been using clear bulbs; after Christmas buys. If you going to use mini’s in your show, make sure you test before hand with actual mini’s because they react at a different rate than C7’s.

Night lights work great! I bought 48 on ebay for like $10 a couple of years ago! I use them in my Jack O Lanters at Halloween too.:D

I created this little testing box using 32 mains lights and a kit box.
