Anyone know where I can find around 4-6 ft white pre-lit Christmas trees at a relatively inexpensive price? I should have bought the ones for 20 bucks after last Christmas!

Cool thanks! I need 4 though...I might wait until after Christmas and get em cheap. They were going to be used as my 'mini-tree" replacements. :-)

Why do they have to be pre lit?

It would be much easier and cheaper to find if you settled for unlit

Thanks all for the info. They don't have to be pre-lit, just stating a preference. The main point is low cost....:-)

If I don't find anything before the season, I will definately do teh post season buy-outs!

Been checking Craig's list in the Connecticut area, but not much around. I like the idea of going right after Thanksgiving to the stores to check...

These will be my mini-trees, much to the style of Holdman's Christmas set-up.

You might check Goodwill and other thrift stores. Around here, they don't put out Christmas stuff until after Halloween. White trees aren't as popular as green, and so you should be able to find them.

What about taking green trees and spray painting them white?

Reason I ask is in the past I have been offered artifical trees from people at work, I have declined them but if you want them I'll keep my eye's open and post a wanted ad in our company web site.

Any interest in 3' green artificial trees?

The 3' trees would be fine....my Megatree (at least for this year) will only be 10' and a 5-6' tree might be too much in front of it. And then I could always make a tomato cage one...so many decisions and so little time!

Not that it will help you right now, but last year Walmart, after Christmas, had a huge pallet of 6 foot pre-lit white trees for around $7.50 each. They weren't selling. I bought mine at that time. After a closer look, I found the lights were rated for indoor use only. No problem, I'm restringing them with outdoor LED lights for this year. Still pretty affordable.

Just for info, I have used the Wal Mart white pre lit trees outside with no problems. I bought 14 at $4 each four years ago in the after Christmas sales specifically for use outside and they work great.

Even gave a few to my daughter who also uses them outside. Just make sure to guy wire them or the wind will do a number on them.

I got my trees at Wal Mart also last year. I bought 16 3' trees at $2.50 ea. and 4 4' trees pre-lit at 4.50 ea. They actually hold up well being outside.

Well I broke down and bought (4) 6' green trees, not pre-lit since I needed them this year for the display. I will buy more after Christmas. They were originally $20.00, but when I explained I was also doing the show for a local charity, the Walmart manager gave them to me for $15/piece....
