DMX vs Reg cont Video's?

Does anyone have a video or a couple of videos that show the difference between a LOR set-up with and without DMX? I am debating whether or not to get DMX this year and based on the additional cost was wondering if it was worth the price? (I know stupid question here, but it is 250 bucks...)

Using DMX with LOR isn't any different than without. Dmx is a language that is used to control entertainment devices.
If you find a DMX controlled fixture that you would like to use in your display; ie a rgb led lighting fixture, moving yoke fixture, DMX controlled snow machine; then you would need to purchase the iDMX
otherwise - if you are not using a DMX fixture - dont worry about purchasing an iDMX

It's going to be hard to discover the merits of DMX by comparing "with" and "without" videos. It's similar to saying "I'd like to upgrade from 32 to 48 channels, please send me videos of each so I can see what the difference looks like".

There are far to many other variables, not the least of, what you do with both DMX and the other non-DMX channels...
