I'm sitting here right now and we are in the middle of some major weather. It hailed for about 20 minutes, let up and it just started hailing again, but this time dime size. I have been all over this great nation, but have never seen a storm that has produced this much hail.

Anyone else have stories like this?

I saw a similar thing a few years back here in Colorado. We had about 6" deep of hail ... and then you would drive less than a mile East or West on the same road ... dry, not even wet. Crazy localized weather!

I love the freaky weather stuff. Yesterday, I left for work and it had snowed a little at my house. When I went down the small mountain I live on ... on the right, and into the distance ... it was all white and still snowing ... snow clouds, very awful looking. THen to the left of a distant mountain, it was brown, dry ... no snow at all. ANd on that side, blue sky, no clouds, no snow ... and the line between the two appeared to be "painted" ... I really wish I had my camera (as I normally do) to shoot that amazing contrast of nature!!! And the landscape along the line was brown vs. white as far as the eye could see. Really cool.

Here is a picture of my "waterbed yard" ... a neighbor took this video. The funny thing is that a week earlier, the builder was telling me the yard 'had rooted'. I don't think so!!

And one more pathetic video ... here is my back yard, after a flash flood ... filled up a silt fence behind my house, then poured through my kids play area like a stream!
