As some of you may have read...I have gotten a very late start with LOR for the first time this year...(trying to keep in mind Chuck's advice.."Start small..take your time")

I am frantically working on my sequences for some simple songs, however there is one I am wanting to try to include this year that is a little more difficult and is pushing my skills with the tapper...TSO Christmas Eve/Sarajevo.
Has anyone tackled this project??
If so...would you be willing to help me out??:?
I would be VERY gratefull!!

Terry-

There is a sequence for TSO's Christmas Eve/Sarajevo by Wayne of NV on Stephan's site: http://www.lamagiedenoel.ca/Lightorama/lightorama.htm
(I don't have any first hand knowledge of that sequence, but you might want to take a look at it.)

I am in that same boat!! I started late and am trying to get my sequences done for this year.

Those sequences there are very good. I used a few for my very first year of animation because I was such a newb. Very good to use, and easy to change to your liking.

Terry,

I have what your looking for. My sequence includes 96 channels (I think) and it is awsome. I put about 24 hours worth of work into it and I would be happy to share it with you. I designed this sequence for my display for next year 06. I am stealing some ideas from Carsons display... I've increased the number of mini trees in the front yard to 22 instead of 16 and I added a HAPPY HOLIDAYS sign to the sequence. I have a 17 channel mega tree, red, blue, green, and white icicles divided into 3 channels (upper, lower, yard) for each color. 8 channels for my candy canes, strobe channel, and upper and lower C-9 channels, doors and windows channel, a santa channel, a frosty channel, as well as a few other misc. channels like bushes and such.

Drop me a message on this site with your email and I will give you a helping hand. All that I ask for is the credit for my work.

On a side not if you tell people how many channels your looking for in a sequence for a paticular song I think you might get more replies.

Also if there is any one else out there that thinks thier display is simimiler to mine and would like to start a sequence share over the summer, please let me know. I personally need someone besides my wife to show sequences to in July. She gets a little tired of them.

My current project is Chirstmas Canon by TSO.

One more thought,

Most of us I feel do not use the tapper. I find it best to divide the song into 1/10 of a seconds right off the bat the lock the action lines so you don't change them by accident. I feel that by watching the motion action line and playing only the visiable section over and over you can match create a much much better show than using the tapper. Besides not to mention if you do use the tapper then turn on some light and then try to use the tapper agian over the same action area the new action line change what you have allready done.

My advice ... ditch the tapper.

Doug,

I don't have a video of the display and personally if I did the last place I would put it is on the internet right now. Poor Carson, so much attention he has had to go dark. However, by viewing the graphic repersentation on Light-o-rama you can get a really good idea of what my house looks like.

also Doug I'll send you an email.

Jim,

I wouldn't mind setting up a share sequence for over the summer. I'm a late comer to this and am planning for '06. I have two sequences done to "Hardrock, Coco and Joe" and "Suzy Snowflake" but they are set up for 16 channels. Since I've "finished" these my plans changed and now I'm looking at a lot more channels so they have to be reworked. My E-mail address is on my profile if your interested.

I have a sequence for TSO's Queen of the Winter Night (16 Channels)

I would be glad to share any sequences I have with anyone, it's my first year and am also starting late so I don't have much yet. I am posting my completed ones on my website(term used loosely) http://www.kreepyhollow.com/Khristmas/Shared.htm

I also have an upload page if you want to postany of your sequences,or a link to your shared sequence.
